Morigenos x ClubOcean®
The Morigenos team took part in the 36th Annual European Cetacean Society Conference in the Azores, a key event that brings together Europe’s marine mammal experts. They presented their work, exchanged ideas, and gained new perspectives to strengthen their conservation efforts. They also launched a new online educational platform—currently available in Slovenian—designed to teach children, students, and teachers more about dolphins, whales, and the marine environment. 🌊🐬

Springtime Adventures for the Polar Bears
Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat x ClubOcean®
As temperatures rise, the polar bears at Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat have been making the most of the melting lake. Without wild mothers to teach them, Ganuk and Henry have learned on their own how to interact with the ice—thanks in part to years of experience in their Davis enclosure. This month, Ganuk was seen confidently swimming under and around the remaining ice, playfully breaking chunks, and even retrieving toys left behind by Henry. 🐾❄️

Shark Guardian continued its mission to raise awareness by delivering engaging shark and marine education presentations in schools across Thailand. Reaching children as young as five, these sessions—now delivered in Thai by locally trained experts—help coastal communities better understand the vital role sharks play in maintaining healthy ocean ecosystems. 🦈📚

Beach Cleans Up After the Sunset
R.O.L.E Foundation x ClubOcean®
On May 23rd, the R.O.L.E. Foundation, alongside Bali WISE students and passionate volunteers, returned to Kelan Beach for another impactful cleanup. Over 232 kg of waste, mostly plastic and styrofoam food packaging was collected, much of it left behind by sunset visitors despite available bins. With the support of Club Ocean®, the team continues to raise awareness about responsible tourism and plastic reduction. Because beautiful sunsets deserve clean beaches. 🌅♻️

Coral by Coral, the Reef Comes Back to Life
Ocean Gardener x ClubOcean®
This month, Ocean Gardener continued its remarkable efforts in Bali by planting nearly 200 new corals every day, while also monitoring and maintaining the health of thousands already restored. In addition to this daily restoration work, their divers carried out underwater cleanups to remove debris from the reef zones, ensuring that the growing corals have a clean, safe environment to thrive. 🪸🤿

Nesting Season in Full Swing
DEKAFOK x ClubOcean®
May marked the exciting start of sea turtle nesting season in Turkey, and the Dekafok team has been hard at work. They identified and protected 120 nests since May 9, trained 15 Erasmus students, educated 541 schoolchildren, and removed over 180 bags of waste from the beaches. With awareness signs now up and the first hatchlings expected by late June, the season is off to a promising start ! 💙🐢
